So tired!
We are a little tired around our household! I sure love it though. Call me crazy, but I have waited almost 6 years to be a mom and I am quite enjoying my sleepless nights. I would'nt change it for the world!

Eva's 1 week old picture. I think I might need to make her some smaller bows! This one is bigger then her cute little head and face. She is doing really well. She LOVES to eat. She also Loves her cozy vibrating chair

Eva Rachel Barrow is HERE!!
Eva Rachel Barrow was born on Thursday October 15th 2009 at 2:04 a.m. She weighed 7 lbs 10 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is just perfect!!
We have known since August that we had been chosen, so for all of you that we "lied" to about not knowing anything we are sorry, we hope that you understand.
We feel so very blessed to have Eva. Our prayers and many others have been answered!

Riding in the car for the very first time. Can I just say that my neck still hurts from staring at her the whole way home!
Holding Eva for the very first time. We got to see her about 30 minutes after she was born, so her hands are still a little purple.
She already has her Daddy wrapped around her little fingers!
Pure Joy!

She is going to be a little thumb sucker! It is so dang cute. She has a hard time finding sometimes, but when she does she is so happy!

Jason and I are so thankful for all of your thoughts and prayers.

We moved!
I guess it is about time for an update, since it has been 2 months. At the beginning of May Jason and I decided to put our house on the market, and much to our surprise it sold in 5 days. So we are now living with my sister Trisha and her husband Carson, while our new house is being built. We are so excited for our new house to be done, but we have a long ways to go. It should be done in November.

We celebrated our 6 year anniversary in May by going with our friends Trent and Susie to Twisp, WA where Trent is from. We had a great time with them there. Jason and Trent helped his dad brand some cows. That was quite the experience. On our anniversary they took us up to this beautiful lodge and we had really yummy dessert.
This past weekend we went camping up by Mt. Rainier. We had a really great time and the weather was beautiful. We went with Jasons sister Amy and her husband Michel and Michels brother Mark and his wife Lindsay, and there kids. We went on a really pretty hike to Purcell Falls. On Saturday we went to Mt. Rainier and went for a beautiful hike down to this lake. We ate some really great food and had a lot of good laughs. We look forward to many more camping adventures.
My sister Trisha started a Facebook group for us, to help us in our adoption process. We have 150 members in it, and it is still growing. We hope to get many more people to join to help get the word out about us. Our caseworker said that the best success is through word of mouth and networking, so if you have a sister of a friend of a cousin who has a girl that has someone they know who is looking for just the right family to place there child with, PLEASE have them take a look at our profile listed in the post below.
We are doing really well and are enjoying all the nice weather we are having. We hope that you are all having a wondeful summer!

HELP! :)
Jason and I want to be parents more then anything in the world. We have been trying to have children for almost 6 years now. I have been on fertility and that has not worked yet. We decided that if we were married for 5 years and still had no children we would look into adopting. We will be married for 6 years on May 16. So last September we decided to start the adoption process. We are going through LDS family services. There is quite a lot of paperwork as you might imagine. We are now officially on the adoption website! HOORAY!
We need anyone and everyones help that we can get in finding our child. If you know of anyone in the United States that is looking to lovingly place their child for adoption please have them check out our website at

Also I dont really know how many people actually read our blog, but if some of you would not mind posting this on your blog we would be eternally greatful!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!
This is one of my favorite days ever with Katie. This is the day she became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. April 15, 2001. (We even celebrated it this year by going out to lunch together)
This is Katie and I at our senior Prom.
Katie and I met our freshmen year. This is us on graduation day 2001
Katie was the first of us to get married. She got married 5 days before she turned 19. She just celebrated her 7th wedding anniversary with her awesome husband James
A few fun facts about Katie:
** Katie has 2 adorable little boys Gabe who is 5 and Nolan who is 2.
** Katie is a very talented dancer. She still remebers ALL of the dances we did as cheerleaders.
** Katie is one of the best cooks ever. She has never made anything for me that was gross.
** Katie is a very talented baker. She makes the most BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS cakes you will ever see.
** Katie has a very kind heart and would do anything for you.
**Katie has a strong testimony of the Gospel and of her Savior Jesus Christ.
I hope you have a wonderful day today Katie!
Love Tara :)

SUPER FUN WEEKEND
We decided spur of the moment to get out of town for the night. We had a blast, just driving and seeing some of the beautiful things WA state has to offer. We went to Leavenworth and stayed the night at this cute place Icicle Village. They had a really yummy breakfast, that was included in the cost of the stay!

We of course had to go into all of the cute little shops and see what they had to offer. We got 2 souviner squished pennies.
We went on a little walk down by the river there and tried taking some pictures of ourselves. I think this one turned out the best. I only wish you could see the beautiful snow capped mountain in the back.

This is me trying to "Remove" one of the trees from the dirt. :)

On the way home we stopped at this beautiful scenic view point of the Columbia River. It was such nice day out.
We also stopped at here. It was really cool to see all of these petrified trees.

Jason and I havent been up to much lately. We bought a new camera last week so we wanted to try it out. We had my sister in law Jamie take some of us and we couldnt resist putting some of Evelyn on there either. We also recently painted our kitchen red and I love it! I dont know why it took me 5 years to finally do it. We hope that you are all doing well and are enjoying this beautiful spring weather!
